Seanchai, I seem to recall reading that you launched your web site biz, back in the day, by posting pics you didn't actually purchase. "Stole" them, as it were, by your definition of the term.
hehehe.
It's an uneasy head that wears the crown these days, isn't it?

 . . .perhaps, is more appropriate.
But blushing is good as well.
When Shemale Yum started I did "borrow" images without copyright holders permission. Usually scanned from magazines as this was the only content available and as we know was the same old shit that's been around for years.
I've been pretty candid about that and printed on the website a number of times, so you've hardly got an exclusive there Hondarobot.
Don't look behind you that conspiracy might be happening again...

So when shemaleyum did it it was "borrowing", but now that the shoe is on the other foot it's "stealing"?
You can say all you want about "borrowing" the "same old shit" that's been seen elsewhere, but that "same old shit" was shot by somoene back in the day, and they had to pay the models to shoot them much like you do today.
I'm the type of person that will pay for something if I think it's good enough. If I hear music I like I buy it to support the artist, if I see a movie I like I buy the dvd, I don't file share anything.
But it burns me a bit when I see the pot calling the kettle black, especially when said person did the exact same thing they are now accusing other people of doing.
You've got a point but 8-9 years ago the internet was a very different place.
We ended up getting hit with legal suits and taking care of business - we're only looking to protect our own copyright in the same way.
(FYI - Shemale Yum at the time was a 100% free site - not even making money from advertising or any other avenues).
seanchai
Well that seems reasonable.
I think a more important question is: were any of the pictures you borrowed airbrushed?
Wouldnt it be ironic if somebody posted pictures in this thread!
