Hm, thinking about it, I take back what I said (to a degree), it probably wouldn't make all that much a difference. It actually probably won't be until the next generation or two that we'll see significant leaps. Ok, so not education. And this makes sense. Causing physical and surely mental trauma to a minor is something that should be a crime.
Is there a more of a stigma to saying you are a pedophile? Of course there is, because to act out that pathology is to commit a crime. To act out the pathology of being gay (i.e. sex with a consenting adult of the same sex) is not.
Consequently, the analogy is weak.

I think the question could equally be posed to members of the (white) gay community as to why they don't feel it necessary to challenge racist violence and inequality? (I don't want to imply that the "gay" community is a white community, just that the white gay community tends to ignore racist policies and practices while decrying homophobic laws)
Seems like the more relevant question to this board is why so much homophobic bullshit is being espoused on hung angels?
