As a former, regular poster who now rarely checks in, here's my perspective.

1) The types of posts here aren't conducive to model participation. The forum has devolved into picture threads. In the past, there had been non-porn content on here... mainstream movie discussions, music discussions, "Oh fuck I have a hang nail tell me what to do" silly threads. With those it's easy to be a part of the community as a model. But picture threads? It's a lose/ lose thing for me. I don't particularly care to stare at other models as it does little for me. And if I post my own pictures, I get attacked for doing self-promotion. or worse I'm hit with point #2

2) "Ugh I don't like her - dick's too small, too old, too ugly... whatever" attitudes. There's a hell of a lot of you who bad mouth models you don't enjoy. As a kid, my uncle taught me an important lesson, "If you can't say something nice, shut up!" Honestly if I wanted to hear how ugly I am and what a failure I am, I'll talk to my mom on the phone -- I can at least remind her that I'll choose what retirement home she spend the rest of her days in.

3) Holzz -- you need to look into the mirror if this is bothering you. I normally bite my tongue and play Ms. Nice online, but since you asked, I'm going to say it directly to you. Whether intended or not, you come off as a douche bag asshole. As a case in point:

As a niche model, Hung Angels in it's current state has been a horribly converting website for me. When I was able to have space at the top of the forum, through either banner ads or when pic galleries went into the stream, I found both of those actually drove sales. It was easy to see something of me despite the fact that I'm not for everyone. But now that it's all picture threads, it's difficult to maintain any level of visibility. While I ran a daily photo thread for many years, the flood of "biggest dick" "hot bulge" "whatever picture threads, rapidly push that down 2-3 pages and it's unseen when the 1 in 10 person who actually is interested in a model like me views this website.

In a lot of ways, the day of the "star" has largely passed. With the rise of the model driven a la carte stores, the top performers in the stores are largely niche performers. If you, Steven, want more independent models posting in the forum, then give us something in return that helps raise our profile when we are active on Hung Angels. Put a widget up that flips through images of the models who've posted in the past week that links to a thread of ours in the forum. If that's not feasible, reopen the gallery at the top to model submissions. If not that, do... something... that gives us visibility for participating. Until there's some tangible benefit of posting here, I can better spend the time by directly speaking with my already buying fans on other platforms.

TL;DR

1) Do more general interest threads over picture threads.
2) Don't be an asshole
3) Holzz - think before posting
4) Steven - do something to grant greater visibility to models active on the forum.
