The reason I call guys like Hof 'upscale' is because he treats his girls more like employees; he doesn't beat them, he doesn't encourage their drug habits. And if they don't earn he fires them.

I don't want to go into a long convo about pimping, I was just expanding on the idea put forth by Westtheangelino that since the advent of backpage and craigslist, we now live in a post-pimp world for most escorts, which has given escorts more professional independence but may leave them more vulnerable to attacks like the one that happened to Eva.

I just thought it was an interesting premise to discuss.

But I also get it that any slight positive a girl might have from 'protection' by her pimp against psycho johns is outweighed by the host of negatives that come from having a street level pimp repping you.

If all pimps did the above then that is comparable to Madams, but as they dont... i still dont think it can be called one and the same.

I agree though that is how it can be done, and if legalised how it should be done for everyones benefit.

On the subject of what you would get from a pimp, the "security thing" .... I know a lot of well known GG escorts hire security for the day in london etc after some stabbings and other nasty shit years ago. Financially it probably works out the same.
