I totally get what you're saying and have thought the same thing when reading threads like this one. However, I've said the same thing countless times. For example I'd marry Jessica Alba or Lola Malone or ... It's just a way of expressing that the person in the photo conjures up a special fantasy. Such a statement is not to be taken literally.

Sometimes the feeling changes after actually meeting a person one has fantasized about. In the case of Jessica Alba, I'm willing to take the risk. In the case of Lola Malone, meeting her made me like her more. :)
