What's interesting to me is that these other forces that directly impact our climate aren't being talked about in mainstream media. It's also at the point now that people will disagree with the facts above just because they have been propagandized by the media to think the sole factor contributing to the weather changes is our modern lifestyle. However, the sun's weather patterns, including flares and sunspot has a greater effect on our weather than all the vehicles made in the past couple of years.
Let's not forget, the environmentalism can be good but when used incorrectly behind a facade, it can be a form of societal control.
Re: Climate change could mean the extinction of our species
If you had spent some time researching rather than recycling half-baked arguments you would know that the idea that we can't be sure recent climate changes are due to human has been thoroughly debunked. Even the US Government's own website makes this clear (I guess the Trumpists haven't got around to purging it).

"Is there scientific consensus that human activities are causing today’s climate change?
Yes. Climate scientists overwhelmingly agree that human activities are responsible for today’s climate change, primarily by releasing excess greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. These greenhouse gas emissions come from activities such as burning fossil fuels for energy, raising livestock, and clearing forests. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's (IPCC) Sixth Assessment Report, which represents the work of hundreds of leading experts in climate science, states that "it is unequivocal that human influence has warmed the atmosphere, ocean and land. Widespread and rapid changes in the atmosphere, ocean, cryosphere, and biosphere have occurred."
"Do natural variations in climate contribute to today’s climate change?
The earth does go through natural cycles of warming and cooling caused by factors such as changes in the sun or volcanic activity. For example, there were times in the distant past when the earth was warmer than it is now. However, natural variations in climate do not explain today’s climate change. Most of the warming since 1950 has been caused by human emissions of greenhouse gases that come from a variety of activities, including burning fossil fuels."
Re: Climate change could mean the extinction of our species
Check out the sun spots and solar weather patterns. Have an open mind, I have one, that's why I went to bed with my 1st ts and many more!
Re: Climate change could mean the extinction of our species
Do you really think that the vast majority of scientific experts who support the consensus somehow missed those things, whereas you (not even a scientist, I assume) know better?
You are not having an open mind. You are just cherry-picking excuses to fit your pre-conception that nothing should be done because you don't like governments doing things.
Your argument is equivalent to someone saying that people should not bother to stop smoking because there are other things that can cause cancer. How is that logical?
