What is The Last Movie You Watched?

I don't know the film but it does amaze me how many British actors are hired in American films when there are plenty of Americans who can do it, and do it properly. -Brian Cox and Albert Finney not only do it but do it badly -the weakest acting in the Bourne trilogy, for example. Michael Caine's American accent isn't very good either. It hasn't worked well the other way either -Tony Curtis pretending to be Cary Grant in Some Like it Hot, but with Don Cheadle attempting a cockney accent in the Ocean's films I am not sure if that is intended to be an in-joke. Do Australians do American better?

And the finest of all.... Dick Van Dyke in Mary Poppins.

I kinda liked Secondhand Lions with Robert Duvall. I'll admit Caine's accent wasn't very good but the movie was fun. Haley Joel Osment was creepy like always. Still sees dead people.
