A guy needs a few things to be successful in life: the brains to understand that not everything or everyone is like his last bad experience, the cojones not to fear getting hurt and the will to keep on in pursuit of what he wants. With the right attitude, most guys can find happiness, and without living in fear about trust or whatever.

I know at least 3 people who have married tgirls here in Canada. So why isn't it possible?

Idk what is wrong with me , I do my makeup everyday and try to look as best as I can but nothing is working! wow...I only just sat and read this whole thread just now...unreal. Everyone: Love is difficult at best and we all carry a lot of pain and misery given to us by the evil, the insane and the misguided. Personally I have come to believe that "trust issues" is as much of a cop-out as any other excuse...translation being, you're simply not up to the effort of conducting an adult relationship in a mutually fulfilling and respectful manner...but that's just my 2 cents worth. I think I can see what some men are talking about in the sense that if they live in Shithole, DeepSouth then they may not be interested in risking their life, your life, your/their loved ones lives for the integrity of having announced to the surrounding community that you are in what may be perceived as an alternative lifestyle; it's not worth your life. Far too many TS, TG, gays, lesbians and other definitions are murdered all the time because they showed integrity around bigotry and ignorance; for someone living in LA while this is still a possibility it is far less of one than say for example Tennessee. I am not going to claim these are facts, because I honestly don't know what the true statistics are for much of anything and out in the midwest where I live not only are there damn few transgendered people but I often think I rarely notice the ones that are there. I see a woman. If I were to be in a LTR with one, likely I would still see a woman, with a little more flexibility in bed. I was raised in a VERY liberal family so it is unlikely that if I brought a stunning beauty like Alyssa or blonde sweetheart home to meet my parents she would be met with anything other than warmth and compliments and a glass of wine.
I think a lot of the men should try to put themselves in the shoes of a TGirl when it comes to how the world has treated her; inversely, ladies, there's nothing wrong with seeing things from a guy's standpoint.
My own difficulty in relationships comes from American culture, but not in terms of orientation, in terms of expectations. Ladies if you think you know what a man "should be," then remember that you are still expressing what you would like a man to be...if he is different, it doesn't necessarily make him less of one...I notice several men here getting slightly testy and sensitive about that but being too nice to say so.
Quite simply, it takes two...I was married once and my wife seemed to think I should be independently wealthy, never work, spend thousands on her every week, never look at another woman, clean for her, massage her for hours, wait on her hand and foot...nowhere in there was there anything about my feelings...she seemed to think if she cooked me a meal occasionally it was enough to show she cared. But we live in a society where people like to say, "It's all about me." This is not what I want. But most people don't want equality; they want the upper hand. So I remain alone. It's certainly not from looks or lack of courage or intelligence...incidentally, one thing I AM fairly ignorant about is stereotypes about Tgirls others have mentioned in this thread, having met so few Tgirls. I guess that must be a good thing. Oh well, just my 2 cents worth. The guys n the girls all kiss n make up now:)
