I am really amazed at how naive all of the Oboma supporters on this board really are. Further more the fact that some of us do not approve of Oboma don't be fooled into thinking that we support Bush, the Repbulican party or in any way associated with the religious right. Barrack is in way over his head and you will soon see the rest of the world test him over and over again. We really won't know just how dangerous he is until it is way too late. For the rest of you folks who don't seem to care about Barrack taking more of your money I am fine with that but don't criticize me for not wanting to part with more of the dollars I work my ass off for every day of my life. Wealth is accumulated in this country through hard work and perseverance not re-distribution. We all have the same opportunity to make it and people like Barrack are living testament. I hope all of you Oboma supporters are as quick to express your dissatisfaction with him as you have been with Bush.
Every Alaskan gets a cut of an oil company's profits, if that company is drawing oil from Alaska. This year each Alaskan got a check for over three grand. The receivers of those checks did nothing for that money, but turn a blind eye to the exploitation of their own state. That's redistribution.
I'm amazed at how naive all the libertarian ideologues on this board really are. (Though that last comment is irrelevant to my point, I threw it in to be as obnoxious as the libertarian ideologues are).
Oh so you make more than 250K a year? Oh and he's not redistributing wealth he's simply bringing back the tax cuts that existed during the Clinton era. The fact that you've managed to spell his name incorrectly at every single instance leads me to believe that your post as well as you yourself are a joke. None of us know whether or not he will be a good president so just sit tight, wait and see and in the meantime hope for the best.Quote:

Enjoy.
The traditional mortgage model involved a bank originating a loan to the borrower/homeowner and retaining credit (default) risk. With the advent of securitization, the traditional model has given way to the "originate to distribute" model, in which the credit risk is transferred (distributed) to investors through MBS. The securitized share of subprime mortgages (i.e., those passed to third-party investors via MBS) increased from 54% in 2001, to 75% in 2006.[51] Securitization accelerated in the mid-1990s. The total amount of mortgage-backed securities issued almost tripled between 1996 and 2007, to $7.3 trillion. The debt associated with the origination of such securities was sometimes placed by major banks into off-balance sheet entities called structured investment vehicles or special purpose entities. Moving the debt "off the books" enabled large financial institutions to circumvent capital reserve requirements, thereby assuming additional risk and increasing profits during the boom period. Such off-balance sheet financing is sometimes referred to as the shadow banking system and is thinly regulated.
Alan Greenspan stated that the securitization of home loans for people with poor credit — not the loans themselves — was to blame for the current global credit crisis.
Forgive my ignorance of the American political system, but what now happens to McCain and Palin?
Does McCain go back to being a senator representing Arizona and does Palin go back to being Governor of Alaska, or did they have to resign from their postitions in order to run for President and VP.
