as i am quite new to the toon thread i have no idea who these artists are or what their body of work consists of. you say you are waiting for #4, then 2 and 3 must be out there somewhere. would you know where? if they are on this thread how far back? this is a 670 page thread and to wade through it all would be nuts.

anyone who can help with this, it will be much appreciated.

as you can see, i am not shy about sharing, so you can be certain i will be loading the thread with the better finds i uncover in an effort to reciprocate.

in my browsing travels tonight i did stumble upon the following collections of downloads.

yes, all of them are free.

i am currently downloading one entire site http://pics.livejournal.com/vitaldata/?sort=top with a bit of software that grabs the entire mess off the server, or any parts that i program it too.

it is a bit of freeware called BackStreet Browser http://www.spadixbd.com/backstreet/ .

if you choose to do this, heed all the warnings i have posted, and also know that this type of program puts HEAVY abuse on your PC's drives.

that is because it downloading at such a rate, and for so long, that they can just 'fry' up because all the data is going in one direction and it never gets a rest. you can pause it though to give it some down time.

but, i have gotten over 2,500 images off of the one site in about 30 minutes so far, and i have another 4,000+ more to go, and still queing up more.

one time i got 30,000+ pics off of one site, took a day and half. that is how i learned it can fry your drive. i had to hook the drive up as a 'slave' and transfer the pics to a new HDD.

I think I'm getting better at this it only took me 30seconds to archive and upload them this time.

last night i pulled down about 200 new toons with my BackStreet Browser ware, now i am attacking a site with about 12,000 images of which half are thumbs and half will be good pix. i will keep u posters posted as to my success.

well, i let the BackStreet Browser rig go all night and when i woke up i had over 22,000 files form one site that is entirely toons of the nature we posted here in this thread.

after i deleted all the non-image files and the thumbs i was left with 9,884 images of toons. that means if i set my slide show at 1 second, it will take me 2 hrs 45 minute +/- to view them all. LMAO


what i found amongst them all were these 'alteration' pix.

a bit off topic, not being toons and all, but this must be one of those cases where life imitates art.

fucking fantastically fun futinari fantasy females.

what will they think of next?

The professor pic on the last page reminds me of some more of doug's work so I will not rest until I post another zip of his art. (BTW FYI Doug Winger)

I'll have to upload some of Doug Winger's other work since he has a really twisted sense of humor in comparison the pictures so far have been pretty normal. ;)
