Here's the difference as well as the maximum render quality settings that 3Dlight can accomplish...
Push these numbers any further and not only will your render take a million years, your eyes won't see any difference in quality. (Remember, the Shading Rate number is: lower value = higher quality. Though any improvements in quality below .20 are not noticeable at all and take forever.)

I hope to eventually get a look kind of like what's in the Lord-kvento pics on this page...that kind of sharp ultra-reality look. His dA page says he's using Octane which is well beyond my means for the foreseeable future, so hopefully with enough practice I can get something satisfactory from what I currently have. (Though the free Renderman is coming soon, so maybe that'll be an option, too).
New render... my favorite little guy, (femboy, whatever - ya'll will look at anything pretty) is gonna have some full length web comics coming out soon...
