The only reason for this thread existing is because people feel so conflicted about transgender people. What's so wrong about two penises? I don't get it. Science also says that any time there is a distinction between two things, it should not be treated as insignificant. Even small differences should not be ignored. A lot of the people in this thread are not attracted to men who present as men because they don't find male secondary sex characteristics attractive. They don't like body hair, they don't like facial hair, they like breasts, and they are attracted to a feminine physical appearance. Does that mean they are entirely straight? Probably not. But you and Jamie insist that everyone who likes transsexual women but not men who live as men is gay and that anyone who argues for a more nuanced view is only doing so because they don't want to be called gay. What an illogical fear? Jamie already calls anyone who disagrees with her gay.

There is nothing at all wrong with being gay. Just like there would be nothing wrong with fitting somewhere on a continuum between gay and straight, meaning that a person likes feminine and masculine character traits. But why can't people have a conversation about a subject without you two engaging in abuse...?

Almost there. Bi means a person likes men who present as men and women who present as women. How about a Kinsey scale, where people's sexuality is understood more fluidly? You either have two or three categories or you have an entire range that tries to account for the whole variety of likes and dislikes. But the problem with a scale is that it can't be used as easily to label or insult people (actually I see that as the upside along with its greater accuracy).

Its all psychological, were a small group who think this way. The majority still look at TS as men, so in their eyes its still Bi/Gay behavior. Thats why at the end of the day i could care less what anyone thinks.
