Some of you guys in this thread are pathetic, i've seen more then one comment about transsexuals not being real women or refferring to a transsexual with a male pronoun just because they won't put up with a monster like that kid in the video, news flash go watch some videos on youtube and almost all of them including transgender, males, gg , teens,kids all agree that kid had it coming.

I am not comparing the two, but if you know the history of gay and trans people- we have been put through plenty of shit throughout history as well.

The Nazis killed hundreds of thousands of gays in concentration camps,
in this country until just a few decades ago you go be jailed, beaten, harrased for going to a gay bar or dressing like a woman- something that became legal in NYC just in the late 60's. Throughout American history there have been many political movements set out to opress LGBT people(which are still going on heavily). Trans women face a a multitude of discriminations in today's society both socialy and economically and trans people are still being killed for being trans people. And to be fair, the African American community, as stated by the President himself, has been less than kind and accepting of LGBT people as well on many occassions- something that I don't understand considering what black people have faced in the US.

While it's impossible to compare the two situations, please don't minimilaze the fact that gays and trans people have been persucted in this heavily country and still are. Please don't minimize that or state that the stuggles that trans women face are somehow trivial.

This video clip in fact is a great example of what some ts women face all the time.

We as transsexuals are not even seen as people we are seen as perverts. Most can’t find jobs, relationships and are disconnected from their family. They are forced to suck cocks and fuck fat old men in their dirty asses in order to eat. There is no community it’s all shade most of the time. This can vary from girl to girl but this is the situation for most, and I bet this is the situation for the girl on the train.

Someone said something about picking cotton, I doubt that tranny on the train could even get a job doing that. Blacks in 1850 were able to find strength in their community, transsexuals in 2009 can’t find that. Blacks in 1850 married and had children; in 2009 transsexuals seldom have that.

I am not trying to make a comparison, all minorities have had their struggles and the hate endured was parallel, but the one thing that separates us from many minorities is the simple things in life, love, relationships, family and community…..many of us don’t have those things, but the blacks, Jews and other minorities did. Complied with all that we have a disconnect in gender, and the inner turmoil is something that cannot be explained in words. It is a given for most people and something they don’t even think about.

Truth is many transsexuals live lonely unhappy lives and die from hate crimes, suicide and some from aids.

Well even though your name is Lucy it’s obvious that you’re not a TS, you’re a straight cross dresser that has the mindset of a male. Any TS would understand how and why this tranny did what she did. All transsexuals have faced some kind of discrimination for being who they are in one form or another. Although I have never been called out like this I have been discriminated in other situations, all transsexuals have. I recently had a situation at the hospital, once I let it be know that I am a transsexual the whole tone changed. Think of a black person in the 40’s then times that by ten, people think we are creatures, things and its. It has nothing to do with a person being male or female. It's about the persons values. I have to question your intelligence on this. Two parties were in the wrong. That fact that a person focuses on one the two wrongs does not mean they approve of the other wrong. And so what Julie has a right to her opinion.
