I sometimes show up at 2:00 AM for a beer and a snack. Never got robbed or harassed by anybody. Police is all over the place and in general the criminals stay away.

Hello all, I'm Nix. I'm new here. Not a stranger to ladyboys.....but my experiences have been limited to 10 Thai ladyboys in the last 2 years. I now find myself with the opportunity to travel to Sao Paulo. In fact, I've been there several times, but have been spooked by tales of crime and danger from going to Rego Freitas and surrounding areas. I finally went recently and had a couple of experiences with freelancers.
Frankly, it was kind of dark and scary there, but that was mostly due to my imagination of what might happen. In reality, nobody threatened me, I did see cops.....and I had one good experience with a TS gal and one not-so-good (she demanded more money in the room, and then locked the door from the inside, creating a bit of a stand-off, which came to nothing).
My apologies all for bringing up an old thread. I see this reply is almost 5 years old.
But does anybody know if Elenice Bar still exists? Can anybody give 2011 information on the scene in this area? My experience there was a bit of a commando-style in-and-out, and I'd like to spend a bit more time wandering the environs in a leisurely fashion....But i'd like some man-on-the-scene information if anybody has any.
Thanks all. Cheers.
Nix

Elenice is still a great place to go in São Paulo, if u look for variety. Famous TGs and not so famous mingle there all night. Just don´t forget not to behave like a tourist.
