as i have said before, because i draw a very definite line between horror and thriller, the exorcist still remains at the top of my list of horror movies. that said, i have a renewed interest in psycho as probably the best thriller of all time. while it isn't scary like the exorcist...its one damn fine movie.
Exorcist and Ammityville Horror (the original) had me shitting myself when I was a kid. The commercials of AH alone made me sleep with the light on one summer.
All David Cronenberg's films are my favorites...
bumped..:dead-1:
It would be between the original Frankenstein and Frankenstein meets the Wolfman. I like the classics and I don't care for all the blood and guts in todays horror films.
I have grown up watching and loving horror movies but the two that spring to mind as seriously giving me sleepness nights are REC and The Woman in Black. Two more recent ones but are pant-wetting scary anyway!
Stir Of Echos..
That chick creeps me out..!
i have to put THE CONJURING in the top 5,...but the EXORCIST still stands supreme over all scary movies.
I would say Halloween 1 or Ridley Scotts Alien which is off course a space-horror movie.
