Birchpace is a UK site so it doesn't care about the Yanks being affected.

Full blown censorship. Nothing more, nothing less.
Re: ANNOUNCEMENT : All Escort Channels have been removed.
Just want to say a few things...........
Yes the review section is down for new posts but as of the time I typed this all of the prior threads were still up for researching someone that most likely has been reviewed several times. That's a good thing.
Yes, Craigslist is down, but to be fair 80% of the photo ads on CL were bait & switch, you know that GG pornstar living in Los Angeles was not in some apartment in Corona.....
There's a plethora of free chat apps available that can take the place of what's been lost. The downside being once the chat is over, what you dont save is gone, BUT, that works in your favor also. Let's be honest there are some workers who think the reviews are making them lose business so they log on under aliases to bash members, a chat group would eliminate that factor.
my .02 cents, my email and IM's are always open.....

If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, these motherfuckers will twist the legalese to make that damned duck into an arm-eating alligator if it so suits them. The wording, and/or lack thereof, is sufficient to lock down a site through litigation long enough to cripple and ruin it.

Backpage in Australia has been completely unaffected by any of the changes in the US or UK (where explicit pics and videos have disappeared). I'm not a lawyer, but they must be confident that their branches in other countries are shielded.

On the upside, a long lost school chum just reminded me of the Fourth Amendment (Search and seizure) and how it applies to Delaware HB 35. Ooh, I haven't seen a good fight 'round here in a long time. :)
Lemme attum! Lemme attum! :D
Re: ANNOUNCEMENT : All Escort Channels have been removed.
Isn't the solution dead simple.. Have the forum moved to a server outside the USA. ?!

It's a beautiful thought but I believe you'll need 'miners' doing de-encryption, no?

I think if someone is somehow organizing a message board where there's going to be escorts and people looking for them, they could potentially face legal issues under this new legislation.
Re: ANNOUNCEMENT : All Escort Channels have been removed.
Seeing how the other threads are still live, can't HA admins just renamed the "NY Escort Review" title thread to exclude the word "escort"? How does the new US congress bill apply to scan sites or threads that would be considered Sex Trafficking? They have had to setup looking up keywords.
