Yeah it sucks. I’d love to post the review of my last encounter because it was crap and I want others to know about it. Unfortunately the UK site attempt 2 looks like it’s dead in the water for now despite the considerable efforts of the chap attempting to organise it.

Well they are expensive when compared to a bunch of bananas down the supermarket but the ones I’m thinking of are what I’d call the normal price for that type of service.

There have already been at least a couple of attempts so far. One didn't appear to attract any posters, the other started off OK, but disappeared. No harm in someone trying again though.

The one that got 300 members in a few months was going well but it was what I believe is a free "hosted" forum, in that it was owned by someone who made money from adverts and therefor provided it free of charge.The problem was that they didnt think T-girl reviews was something that appealed to their advertisers so they pulled the plug.
It was early days but it was on the way to being a very useful site. So if someone set one up in their control I think it would do well.

There already is a suitable, established, UK site, which has made a few recent tweaks to become more TS friendly. However, some are averse to joining for various reasons.

I'd agree there's still a demand for a TS only review site, but not if they are going to close down within a few months of starting up. How many people out there are willing to put the effort and money into running a site like that for little or no personal gain?
