Considering that I quoted a comedian, a not-very-well-known economist and an unknown, the Ben Franklin bit is a non-sequitur. The only thing that is "up" is that we are sending the man who kept us safe, and who dealt with impossible situations about as good as could be expected, out of office in discrace and shame, and electing a socialist utupian who wouldn't stand a chance in hell at getting elected if he wasn't a black man capable of putting a few sentences together without breaking out into full fledged ebonics, and who happened to cater to the far left lunatics. Where he WON'T be good is the economy. Let's not forget the straw that broke the camels back was social engineering programs that guaranteed people homes and mortages who shouldn't have had them.

We can't blame the equal opportunity programs entirely, our economy had become inflated way beyond it's real value. Why? Because it hasn't been allowed to take it's normal swings, and correct itself. A truely free market hasn't existed since the 1920's.
