I detest trump but you can't pin this on him. Look at it this way:

Trump didn't campaign on having a bill like this and he's never tweeted about it, that I know of.

Actually, I think he missed a big opportunity to score brownie points by not leading the charge.

No one knows who they are, they appear to have a very LOUD voice within the administration they actually work for. More than likely in Trumps case, though I know that's hard to believe!
In the UK they are known as Senior Civil Servants, working within Government. They remain nameless to the most of us. A fucking good idea probably as some of them would of been took out by frustrated members of the public for a lot of their antics!

Since those forums have been taken down, is there a reason to save or archive them? My concern is, first a law is passed to take out the speech, then the enforcement asks website hosts to surrender the speech. If you haven't received any notice from LE to preserve those old forums in a manner that can be recalled for evidence or investigation, it may be a good idea to wipe them clean like Hillary's server.
