It makes sense because Kalif was arrested back in November for burglary. It wouldn't be surprising that they have done this before. Or, it was a revenge thing. One of the suspects felt "disrespected" over the argument. However, we don't know the timeline of the incident to make the "disrespected" angle be plausible.

the disrespected angle is still no excuse to attack someone at gunpoint, but this whole situation just gets me mad. i had always wanted to meet her because i'm a big fan and to hear that this happened sucks.
