I agree. Smoking is a noted warning on all pre-op literature. It can also complicate anasthesia.

I recently quit smoking (two weeks ago), as I have upcoming surgery on November 24th. I quit before my last surgery but like a fool started again.

If you really wanna quit, it's not as hard as you might think. You just have to want it.

try chantix, i stopped on it once but went back. i just went to the doctor yesterday to get a script and am gonna try it again.
