I've never understood expensive shoes. But that's me. In defense of elite shoes, I listened to Eric Raymond (One of the Linux Holy Trinity) talk a few weeks ago and one of the things he mentioned was "Never wear cheap shoes to a board meeting, because they will never listen to you". Maybe that's what it's all about and why I am still a drone. :?
