Sadly I've never seen Tom and I'm starting to doubt I'll ever get the opportunity to do so. I'm pretty sure he did stop smoking cigarettes and went straight to eating them.

I am very sad today because I love Steely Dan and earlier today I was listening to Can't Buy a Thrill and as soon the album ended I got my phone and saw the news.
