Re: What is The Last Movie You Watched?
Just watched Battle: Los Angeles. Pretty good flick, don't watch if you get motion sick easy.
Very scetchy rumor that they might make a sequel or two.
Speaking of sequels... They are finally making a sequel to a series of movies that I have never been able to sit through.
Evil Dead 4

Ah, Jason Statham - the thinking man's Danny Dyer.

Danny who?
Re: What is The Last Movie You Watched?
Incidentally Ocean's 12 was on tv last weekend I think it was, and there is a scene in the movie where Matsui (played by Robbie Coltrane) talks gibberish, such as If all the animals along the equator were capable of flattery, then Thanksgiving and Hallowe'en... would fall... on the same day...its something the dealer does when talking with people he doesn't know or trust: I think Soderbergh lifted this idea from the film Nueve Reinas/Nine Queens, made in Argentina in 2000 -not sure if anyone has seen it but Nine Queens had me guessing to the last moment in the film, and even when I watched it again I enjoyed it. Fantastic film.
I also note that the character Don Cheadle plays in Oceans -with a horrific 'English' accent, is called Basher Tarr, surely a sly dig at an Hungarian maestro...?

i cant complained, i found it entertaining.
they substituted car races for car chases in this F&F film and there's
a ton more shooting than any of them together. the addition of the Rock
was a added treat.
the film was moving and going at a good enough pace. i would have liked to seen more Tyrese-humor into it but with so many additional faces it had to be short and sweet.

The Crimson Pirate
Yeah, it's shite, but it's fun...I smiled all the way through it. :)

Thanks Jericho, I looked at his list of credits but am none the wiser not having seen any of the films, and, as I do, avoiding tv programmes like The Bill, Foyle's War. Its just occurred to me, does Jason Statham actually think? In his roles, I mean. He drives a lot, scowls a lot, and doesn't shave...whatever....

Well yeah, that's all he's required to do, init!
If you've not seen it, check out 'Ghosts of Mars", John Carpenter at his, well, john carpenterish. No thought required, would have been better without the ending (imo)
