I've never been with a TG so I can't really write about that;
with that said:
the whole "you have to be a jerk to be popular with girls" is actually quite wrong; A lot of ppl mistake confidence with being a jerk.
Maybe some girls like bad boys, but in my experience, girls like a guy who recognizes who they are (and where they are from), who know who they are, and know where they want to go in their life.
Also, the whole "be yourself" is also true, but for one simple reason; basically if things workout and go further you're eventually going to need to show your "real" self, so why not whow it from the getgo and get the girl on your own merit ?
