Once again, a misinformed white man wants to preach to me about my own history. Even has the audacity to suggest, that I should be appreciative of this historical transgression. I guess everyone that emigrated to the United States or any another economically stable country came over in chains and slave ships. Is that what you're saying T-Fan? Why some white people feel the need to compare 400 years of barbaric, unhumane treatment to some African chief who sold another African from an "ENEMY" tribe to a white slavetrader is ridiculous. See, some whites like to use this "Your own people sold you into slavery" defense, as if people sold their own family and tribe members into bondage, when in reality they were captives from another waring tribe. Furthermore, I'm sure if those men had a crystal ball to see the "big picture" of what would happen, they might have reconsidered. See, in Africa they did have African slaves like many other racial cultures had and they were treated horribly, no doubt. However, their families weren't ripped apart and people's self-identity weren't stripped from them until they were in a mental abyss. When people, especially whites like to compare Black slavery vs the Jewish Holocaust and say why are they doing well and you're not, there are 3 main reasons. 1) They have white skin privilege allowing them to assimilate into this white dominated culture easier. 2)In spite of Hitler and his Nazi regime's sickening, demented acts against the Jews, he never tried to mentally erase who they were, only physically. So after his regime was defeated in World War II, they still had knowledge of themselves to pull it together, which is why they don't tolerate any anti-Semitism. 3) They don't solely reside in the country of their former oppressors. The whole purpose of establishing the Nation of Israel was to have their holy land also act as a historical, economic and cultural stronghold for their people. Blacks have become so fragmented and divided thru white colonialism throughout the African Diaspora, that even in many African countries you have people bleaching their skin and feeling comtempt for African Americans, while accepting Whites who plunder their countries of its natural resources (mainly gold, diamonds and petroleum) and compensate them with tablescraps for the opportunity.

Since you would like to say we're equally complicit, which I feel is nothing more than a mere self-defense mechanism for white people, who don't want to deal with the lingering aftereffects of their white brethren's misdeeds. It's like these right wing, GOP judges who will give some 18-19 year old black kid the lecture about morality and how growing up with an abusive, absentee father and drug addicted mother in a crime riddled neighborhood, is no excuse for selling drugs before sentencing him to 20 to life, when this asshole grew up in some Middle-American whitebred community and never had to need or want for anything. Even me as a young African-American male won't try to pass judgement, only to encourage them that their is a better way to become successful in America and support a family, then sell drugs or engage in other illicit activities. However, I have a college educated father who was middle-management for a governmental agency and a mother who is a small business owner. I've went to parochial schools my whole life and never had a need or want for really anything. My father paid for my college tuition also, even though I worked for my car and other luxury items. So, who am I to pass judgement on some of these brothas, who grew up in such dysfunctional environments, as to why they sold drugs or stole somebody's car to make some money. My only issue is those who make money, then instead of investing in their education or a simple business like a laundrymat or real estate, get addicted to the fast money and continue until they get caught. While I have my issues with some of the values and messages Jay-Z brings across in his lyrics, especially for the impressionable kid being raised in a tough, poverty stricken environment. I do have modicum of respect for the brother, as he and his business partner Damon Dash took their drug proceeds and started a record label, when no major label would sign Jay-Z as an artist. At least they saw a larger picture outside of the criminal life. Jay-Z now has a net worth of about $350 million dollars and Dame Dash's is around $200 million. My friend knows a dude who paid his way thru an Ivy League school selling Esctasy. It's just like the TS escorts on these websites. Some have a plan to get out of the life and some get caught up in the fast money and will eventually end up old, pathetic and broke. Remember the Kennedy's, which are commonly referred to as "Camelot: American Royalty" have their foundations on Joe Kennedy's bootlegging business during Prohibition.

If you watch the way the black entertainment industry portrays white people in black films you will see that the black community is not trying to make it any better. If the white entertainment industry made fun of black people that way it would be considered wrong, but it is ok to make fun of the white people in a racist way? I think there is more racist that are black then white, black are racist against other blacks, the American blacks don't like the Haitian black, the Haitian blacks don't like the Jamaican Black, the Jamaican Black don't like the African black and none of them like the Latin blacks because they don't consider them selfs black. Then you have the light skinned dark skinned problems.

As a Irish american my family has not been that friendly with blacks. But
we will admit that slavery was 100 times worst than the Holocaust. The fact
is most jews do not face "real" discrimination these days. Blacks still do.

So were my Irish Grandparents who came here looking for a better life
and they were beaten up and spit on by Italians and "WASP" simply for
being Irish.

My friend knows a dude who paid his way thru an Ivy League school selling Esctasy. It's just like the TS escorts on these websites. Some have a plan to get out of the life and some get caught up in the fast money and will eventually end up old, pathetic and broke. Remember the Kennedy's, which are commonly referred to as "Camelot: American Royalty" have their foundations on Joe Kennedy's bootlegging business during Prohibition.

Joe Kennedy's, a democrat btw, wrongs do not justify yours or anyone elses. The facts are these; the vast, VAST, VAST majority of people who sell street drugs are stupid, neanderthalic imbeciles who are too cowardly to get out and work for a living.
