The Hilda Brasil thread below inspired me to ask...why do so many brazilian girls go to italy.
is the earning potential there better than the us? other countries?
are italian men or italians in general more accepting of transwomen than other countries?
are the immigration laws a bit less restrictive?
do brazilian girls just like pasta?
is it any or all of these? just wondering.

Scratch any Brazilian you can always find a(real or fake) Italian ancestors.
And also bigger market for transwomen,homosexuality is less accepted in Italy,so if you want cock it's more acceptable to get it with long hair & fake boobs.
I know from personal encounters that these girls began arriving in the 1970s, not just in Italy but also in France, and I assume Spain -I did not go to Spain in those days. As timxx says some had Italian ancestry, but I think another reason is that in those days there were cheap places to live in Rome, Milan, Naples, and Genoa where I encountered working girls from Brazil on the street.
Networking created a conduit of new girls who were told by friends the money was good, etc; there was a documentary on this in 1993 called The Boys from Brazil, which I have linked below.
I think there was eventually a 'ring' which organised the transport of girls from Brazil, there is a thread on it somewhere on HA.
I think it is a case of liberal attitudes to immigration and the law, Italy has never been the best organised state, and once in Italy it was relatively easy to get into France even before the Schengen agreement -hence the girls in Marseille, Nice, and Paris of course.
Not sure when the first Brazilian girls arrived in Amsterdam; I don't recall seeing any on my first visit there in 1973 and I didn't return for many years after that so I can't be sure.

Never been to Italy; but my buddy went recently to see family and he said there were escorts all over. He said his cousin warned him that the most beautiful prostitutes were often Brazillian trannies. Sounds like a win-win to me.
