"Love is a Battlefield", or is it?
I personally have a wide range of what I am attracted to in a girl. While I struggled with the TG difference in my head for a long time (and belatedly said screw societal norms), I have also worked out within myself what I want, what I don't want, and what I can compromise on (what I want and can't have, or don't want but will give.) This self-acceptance is when I was able to look beyond differences and look for love.
Will I find it in a TG or a GG? I don't know. Will a new relationship I start work out because I am willing to compromise? It's give and take, and each of us has a 'no go' line (I don't think anyone here is still in their 1st ever relationship so all of us have experience in why it didn't work out.)
Going back to the 1st paragraph, self-acceptance and self-realization is the key to any lasting relationship. The question comes down to, do you respect yourself and respect your mate?
All the women that come and read or post on this site are beautiful in their own way! Am I attracted to all? Absolutely not. Am I attractive to all of them? I assume not. I assume, not because I don't think I am attractive, but because I accept that I have my own tastes and assume everyone else does too. Am I gonna disrespect anyone's taste? Hell no!
Let me take 1 body part to expand on the above paragraph. The breast. While I am admittedly a face man and therefore not concerned with the size of a woman's breast, I recognize many men do care. Personally I like the areola of the breast to be small and responsive. So do I have a dilemma when faced with a small or large breast with a areola that is not to my preference? If you thought even for a second that I would be, you didn't read! I am a face man, and honestly threw out all other areas of a woman's physique as a distraction to my passion. For me (and I accept not for all) as a face man this means, someone with whom I can wake up and just catching a glimpse of her beautiful face, sigh and fall in love with her all over again, so this would be a very easy thing for me to compromise my own perceived "standards" on.
Expanding further, (and I do mean expanding :shock: ) I fully appeciate the raw, sexuallity of large breasts. It's just not what I look for or even want. But some here do, and again I respect their personal preference. Hell, I still don't understand why most of my friends are attracted to Julia Roberts or Cameron Diaz. Sure in "Mystic Pizza" and "Something about Mary" (actually more so in "The Mask"), they both were attractive to me then, but neither does it for me now.
The point here is, I have been reading many past threads and "bashing" anyone for their looks that surely someone does find exceptionally attractive, or "bashing" someone for their reasons, what ever they are, for posting here, makes no sense at all to me (except bashing the obvious hate initiated posts.)

On a more personal note, I have given my heart to a true beauty but am feeling it is unaccepted. Didn't mean to, but I am a romantic tard. Too much passion in my heart and not enough reality checks in place.
