I wonder if she looked at Thailand for a srs. Their work tends to be excellent and it is far cheaper.

Grammar Nazis are everywhere, even on porn discussion forums.

As they should be. We're here to communicate and failing to use correct grammar or punctuation then one is failing to communicate properly.

As GroobySteven says using the correct grammar and punctuation makes it easier to understand the posts on here and thus makes it easier to form a suitable reply. It's not rocket science.
Look on the bright side jamesedwards - you've been gifted another opportunity to whinge and have a rant at those whose opinions you disagree with.

Lighten up, guys. Hemi's commas reminded me of someone on a sports car forum I use who always filled his posts with hundreds of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! quite unnecessarily.

I was just having a laugh, hence the :D. I wasn't passing judgement on his spelling or grammar as it's clear English is his second language ... ;)

"The uncertainty that typically surrounds these questions makes it all the more remarkable that there’s one convention that is incontestable: Typing in all caps is Internet code for shouting, and it is rude."

...and yes it was me who told you that you were shouting. :)

...hey HR...don't sweat it , man....see, you wrote "you're" instead of "your" like most of the bozos on the Web so you're doing fine
...besides, it's a typing mistake, not a writing mistake...the 2 keys are right next to each other....I use the ellipsis all the time, and make that same typo frequently, it's no BFD
....life's too short to sweat the small stuff

Some of the post on here remind me of the opening lines to this classic episode of Hancock's half hour

The First Night Party [1.1]

Announcer: Yes, this is the first night of the Lad's new radio series. Such occasions are usually marked by a small celebration of some sort, but Tony Hancock is really doing it in style - he's going to throw a cocktail and dinner party, so let's go over to Tony's flat in the English quarter of London's West End, where he and Bill Kerr are making the arrangements.

Hancock: [slow typewriter sounds] Hurry up, Kerr. Haven't you finished typing out those invitations yet?

Bill Kerr: Don't rush me, don't rush me.

Hancock: Might help if you took the gloves off...

Bill Kerr: My hands are cold. [pause] Anyway, what's wrong with typing in gloves? [pause] I like typing in gloves. [pause] Lots of people type in gloves.

Hancock: Not in boxing gloves.

Grammar Nazi sounds better than punctuation Nazi probably why no one makes a meme for it.

Making fun of someone's post due to the lack of grammar or punctuation is more likely to stifle communication.. An assumption that everyone on the net speaks English as a first language or has the same educational opportunities, shows a lack of consideration. Overall it is about the equivalent to laughing at someone for tripping, a class act indeed.
