It IS strange when a discriminated against minority starts to spout Bible verses, however.

This is very interesting, she seems to have found Jesus, but not in a way that she would detransition, it seems like she wants to be sober and spiritual but not embrace Christianity completely, because if that was the case she would definitely be making plans to detransition, I don't have to remind you how much Christians hate the gay community, but who knows, maybe she has those plans, that would be very interesting.

I actually saw the former 'Vanity', of the group Apollonia 6, that hung out with Prince, speak at large church, some years back. She was true evangelist, at that time. Her real name is Denise Mathews. She wanted to write a book, about her time with Prince but, I'm sure he would try to squelch that.

I never said she's wrong, did I? I was just wondering how she decided to change her lifestyle so suddenly. If she wants to be religious that's fine. I hadn't seen her take such a strong stance about it prior, so fuck me for wondering, right? Maybe instead of assuming I think something's wrong with her you could wait for my actual opinion. Of Vanity and Apollonia, I have to admit, Denise looks the better of the two. Whatever the Jesus is doing for her, it's working. I'd still like to hit that.

I saw that tour. I had mad love for Susan Moonsie...and also Vanity. Unfortunately I was so far back at the Cincinnati Coliseum that even on the video screens it looked like I was watching a 10 inch television from 30 feet away.

She said on her Twitter feed that she decided to become celibate after her last HIV test has her negative. Which I think is kinda funny because 15 years ago, a troll posted on Vaniity's old Yahoo! Groups page (until the turn of the century, Yahoo! Groups were our social network before MySpace, Facebook and Twitter came into the picture) that after an encounter with her when she used to escort that he says he contracted an STD and blamed it on Vaniity. Being that Vaniity is still alive and healthy 15 years later and continued to do porn as recently as just a few years ago, it's obvious that the poster is a disgruntled customer that probably had a less that satisfactory experience with her so he libels her out of spite.

Speaking as an atheist, it's always disheartening when one of my favorite performers turns to religion, but that is her choice and her right and I wish her the best.
