I've been getting updates on my FB that Sumaya Ysl was murdered last night? I was able to find a brief tumblr entry:

But I want to verify that it's true first.

it is definitely true and very sad. We worked together both times I traveled to Toronto and she was sweet and friendly and beautiful. Very sad.
RIP Sumaya

She seems to have touched many girls in the Toronto community, and is being remembered as a very sweet and gentle girl.
If she was murdered, may the killer slowly rot in the darkest depths of a Turkish prison

I heard about this yesterday and was trying to get some facts/news reports before giving it out.
Very sad news and someone I'd seen on Facebook a lot.

Here's an update and it seems the Toronto Police say her death has been ruled not a homicide...

No need to investigate a murder if it's decided not to be a homicide.
If we had access to the crime scene, I'm pretty sure a lay person would have a decent idea if this woman was murdered or not.
