I am saddend that Bruce Jenner is only being treated as an object of ridicule by some and skepticism of his motives by many and it is all because of ageism.

If one of the Jenner/Kardashian kids were transitioning at say 18 years old it would be a global fap fest of epic proportions. But no Bruce Jenner is 60+ years old so some would rather make fun, rather than recognize that for a lot of reasons he just did not have the nerve to do it back in the day. This is a ridiculous post. Jenner won the gold in the 76 Olympics and set a World Record and won AP Athlete of the Year. He was on the cover of the Wheaties box. He was on CHiPS. His Olympic feats were parodied on Saturday Night Live by John Freakin Belushi.

Former Olympian Bruce Jenner was in one of the cars involved in a three-car crash that killed one person in Malibu, Calif, Saturday afternoon, Los Angeles Police say.

Jenner's publicist, Alan Nierob, says Jenner was unhurt, but offered no additional details.

Police deputies added that Jenner was not being chased by paparazzi at the time, contrary to earlier reports.

The crash occurred at approximately 12:12 pm Pacific time in the town of Malibu, at the corner of Pacific Coast Highway and Corral Canyon Road, said Sgt. Matthew Dunn of the Los Angeles Police Department.

"There was one fatality," Dunn said. The crash is currently under investigation, he said.

City News Service reports that as many as seven people may have been injured.

A rescue helicopter landed at Pepperdine University, 2 miles east of the crash, to pick up one victim. It isn't clear if that was the person who has been declared dead...

There had been rumors in the past that Bruce would change his name to Bridget, but Star says this source is solid, and Belinda it is.

Of course, it's rather expected that Bruce would choose a name similar to his own, and one that starts with a "B." That way, he doesn't have to change his monogrammed towels, amiright?

But what's sort of strange about the name is that Linda is the name of his ex-wife, Linda Thompson (mother of Brody and Brandon).

And when you dice the name Belinda, it's "Be" "Linda." You'd think a guy wouldn't want to be reminded of his ex-wife every day.

Star also says that Kris Jenner didn't take the news well at all, despite the fact that she was aware of his gender orientation issues before they even got married. Apparently he'd been talking about becoming a woman before they married, but Kris was determined to have a "trophy husband" and talked him out of the transformation. Hey, always blame the wife, right?!

Personally, I have compassion for Kris. The idea that she knew exactly what she was getting herself into, I don't necessarily believe. People like to think the wives always know all of a husband's deep, dark secrets, but that is absolutely not true at all. If Kris had no idea about this, I really feel for her.

As for Belinda, there are lots of pretty names Bruce could have chosen, but this one seems to fit the bill ... linda.

Bruce Jenner is reportedly gearing up to discuss his “wish to transition from male to female,” with Us Weekly claiming the star has already “taped a major sitdown interview.”
As Gossip Cop has reported, there has been much speculation about Jenner’s appearance in the wake of his 2013 split from Kris Jenner. The former athlete seemed to embrace a more feminine look, growing out his hair, wearing nail polish, and more. To date, the only surgical procedure confirmed was Jenner having his Adam’s apple shaved down in January 2014. At the time, the Olympian denied it was the first step toward other gender reassignment surgeries, telling TMZ, “I just never liked my trachea.”
And Kris previously dismissed claims of Jenner being transgender as dumb tabloid talk. As Gossip Cop reported last year, she appeared on the “Today Show” around the same time as Jenner’s surgery, slamming the speculation as decades-old rumors. And then, last October, she appeared on the program again, calling the continued chatter “silly.” “They’ve been saying that since the ’70s. You’d think that’d be cooked by now,” she said.
But eyebrows were raised when, during an “Entertainment Tonight” interview earlier this week, Kim Kardashian suggested something was afoot after she was asked if her stepfather is “going through something.” And while she declined to go into any specifics, the reality star said she supported Jenner, and that he would share his “journey” when “the time is right.”

This whole Bruce Jenner affair now has an air of a Shakespearean tragedy.

I generally couldn't care less if someone wants to change sexes.

However, once you are married and have offspring, you need to suck it up and continue down that path (whether or not you think feel like a woman).

If you are 20 years old and aren't married, don't have any kids, and have a realistic chance of passing yourself off as a woman, then by all means change sexes. But if you are 65 and have a wife and kids, then the sex change parade has passed you by. All you are doing is exposing your family and yourself to ridicule.

It seems very narcissistic of Bruce Jenner to inflict this whole mess on his family (especially when he has teenage children). I think it is common sense to assume that having your father publicly attempt to change into a woman will negatively impact his family.

The E! star recently underwent a procedure at Beverly Hills Surgical Center to flatten his Adam's apple. A source tells Us Weekly (http://www.usmagazine.com/) the Olympian intended to have the work done in December but postponed it until Jan. 19 after his plans were leaked.


One possible reason for his secrecy: The procedure can be a step toward becoming a woman. The laryngeal shave -- which starts at $5,000 -- "is, in many cases, a part of gender-reassignment surgeries," explains NYC-based cosmetic surgeon Michael Jones. "But that's not the only reason to have it."
The former decathlete, for instance, says he simply wanted to change a problem spot: "I just didn't like my trachea."

LOS ANGELES – Video shows Bruce Jenner started a chain-reaction crash that resulted in a woman's death on a Malibu highway, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press on Wednesday.

Jenner was hauling an off-road vehicle on a trailer behind his Cadillac Escalade on Feb. 7 when he steered to avoid cars slowing for a traffic light in front of him on Pacific Coast Highway, the official said.

Bruce Jenner’s sex change is back on track. After briefly postponing his transition in the wake of a fatal car crash last month, RadarOnline.com has learned he has increased the frequency of visits to his therapist as he prepares for a sex change operation this summer.

Having already been in therapy prior to the car accident “was a blessing because Bruce already had a support system in place,” an insider told Radar. “It was recently suggested that Bruce increase the visits to twice weekly, however, to cope with the aftermath of the fatal crash.”

“The therapy was required by the doctor that will be performing Bruce’s sex change operation,” the source revealed. “And it has helped Bruce tremendously.”

You might have thought that his celebrity status in America might have been a further factor in him not going through the sex change.He won't be able to transition in private and what he's wearing to the beach and which sex toilet he goes too becoming international gossip and tabloid fodder.

But I guess this whole thing is as much a compulsion,as it is a choice.Besides his mother and the older kids he has from his first marriage seem to be quite supportive.

Caitlyn Jenner’s new face cost $70,000

Caitlyn Jenner‘s new face didn’t come cheap.

As noted in her splashy debut in Vanity Fair, the 65-year-old former Olympian underwent a 10-hour facial feminization surgery in March of this year — a process that transforms the face and softens the features to appear more feminine.

Los Angeles-based celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. David Alessi, who has never treated Jenner, estimates Caitlyn’s new face set her back a whopping $70,000.

By looking at the athlete-turned-reality star’s face, Alessi, who performs facial feminization surgeries on roughly a dozen male-to-female patients a year, details the six procedures he believes were done.

“Rhinoplasty can run anywhere between $9,000 and $15,000,” says the 57-year-old surgeon, of the Alessi Institute. “I think she’s had some facial rejuvenation surgery also — that can run $25,000 in and of itself. She’s had the brow lift — that can be between $11,000 and $12,000. She’s had the cheek implants — that’s between $6,000 and $8,000. She’s had her Adam’s apple shaved and that can run anywhere between $6,000 to $10,000. She’s had Botox to the [jaws], which is about $800.”

He also says it’s not uncommon for patients to return to their surgeon for general upkeep and hints that Jenner won’t be any different.

“They may want to tweak things,” Alessi says. “Again, she’s going to want to stay as good-looking as she can for as long as she can. I’m sure she’s going to have little tweaks here and there.”

Beyond the subtle tweaks, Jenner could opt for body sculpting that would give her an hourglass figure.

“Short of the general sex reassignment surgery [which Jenner has not undergone] would be liposuction because women and men have fat in different areas,” the doctor said. “Women will typically have more fat in the buttock and thighs and men typically are thicker around the midsection. And to have an hourglass shape, it’s not uncommon to have liposuction done — have the fat taken out from the belly and re-injected into the butt.”

I think he is transitioning, but perhaps too slowly. I know it takes time, but he's got a lot of money and not many more years. He should step it up a notch.
