Anybody who is permanently banned by the mods stays just that way, locked out forever. Others get length bans based on their abuses from a week or so for first offenses, to a year or longer for persistent offenders. I've just unbanned a dozen people or so, who had bans but had served most of their sentence.
If they do comeback and misbehave, that's what the REPORT button is for. Don't report something because you just don't like it. If you can, make a rebuttal or correct them first. Remember we have people with all different languages here which may account for some issues.

And for posters, try and be interesting. If you've created a thread that is mostly just you talking to yourself in, then you might want to realize, nobody else is reading and you're wasting your own time that might be better invested elsewhere - or not.
