2006, The Year Of The Shemale

Could 2006 be the year TS girls break into the porn mainstream? I think it is, and the process is already happening (I'd dig through my old posts to retrieve my prediction of this happening about a year ago, but I don't want to appear to be boastful, hehe).

I just stopped by hotmovies.com to see what new titles had been added to the database, and what movie do I see on the home page? None other then Allanah Starr's Big Boob Adventure. I checked the top ten most viewed titles, and since the time it was released Big Ass Shemale All Stars 2 is still holding strong in the top 3 (that's of ALL movies, not just TS). If anyone is unfamilier with Hotmovies, it's not a shemale oriented site at all. It's pretty much as solidly mainstream as it gets.

As has been posted elsewhere at times, exposure through porn is a gateway for the average guy to become familiar with TS girls. Keep up the good work girls, and I'm willing to bet that the AVN awards this year will see a few shemale titles winning or at least nominated in more catagories.

Hotmovies has many ts videos not sure when it became only mainstream. Most shemale titles are there but listed under fetish and a few under "straight".

All my titles are there and ALOT of others, any company have their videos there you just send them the title and get a percentage.

Nothing ground breaking LOL

Well, I didn't say it was "groundbreaking" Wendy, but the site is primarily more mainstream video. It's broken into several areas with different themes or whatever, but the basic site is what is I'm talking about.

I just think it's nice when the homepage has Allanah and Gia Darling pictured on it, and Shemale All Stars 2 is consistently in the top 3. That's all I'm saying. I've seen your videos and many other girls videos on the site, and it's not just restricted to TS girls.

I think that's a positive thing.

Honestly, though, I have noticed TS subject matter growing throughout the video industry.

It comes down to this:

If enough people ask enough times for enough TS stars, the AVN, and subsequently the world, will surely notice.
