Change post order

Hello, new guy here.This is my first post, and I am using it not to give thanks to all the beautiful gurls on here but a rather more mundane question.
I have read a few threads, and have wondered what is going on as the first post doesnt seem to make sense WRT thread title.
It has (embarrassingly) only just dawned on my that that page 1 of any thread is actually the newest posts, and the original post is on the last page.
Can I swap it around somewhere?

Click on UserCP (top left-ish of this page )

In the Control Panel pane on the left under the section Settings * Options
click Edit Options

In the third panel down http://www.hungangels.com/vboard/images/ca_serenity/buttons/collapse_thead.gif (http://www.hungangels.com/vboard/profile.php?do=editoptions#top) Thread Display Options in the section titled
Thread Display Mode click on the dropdown list box and select Linear - Oldest First


Click on the Save Changes button at the foot of the page

linear oldest post first mode is most user friendly IMO. I never gave it any thought but I would have thought that was default option.

We've just defaulted the site to oldest post first. Older users would have always had this, must have been during some upgrade it would have switched over for new additions.
