R.I.P. Big DF

I just received word that a poster on Hung Angels, Big DF (http://www.hungangels.com/vboard/member.php?u=70612) passed away last week.

For those of us who got to know him, he was one of the rare ones; he truly cared for everyone around him. When one of the posters here went through a rough time, he made sure to check in on her and make it clear someone cared. He reached out with a compassion very few could ever match to someone he barely knew and would never meet. He did so, not because he hoped to gain something from her, but he did it because it was the right thing.

That impressed me.

She wasn't the only person in the trans community he showed support to. I know he's touched the lives of many folks both in the real world and the virtual one.

R.I.P. Big DF... they don't make them like you anymore.

He had been struggling with pneumonia a few weeks ago, it would appear the weather let it beat him.

Awwww. Very sorry to hear that and he genuinely was one of the good guys, I believe he was on this forum as well as a bunch of the website forums.

It's amazing how someone you never get to meet but only interact with on an (porn based) forum, death can affect you. This is the third such long term member that I know of who has died, I don't know if there is way we can list/honor/remember them?

Dave and I got to the point where we were corresponding away from the forums - we had discovered a mutual passion for railways (he was a retired traindriver).

He was a lovely man in every way and so courteous and kind to the girls. I'm going to miss him a lot.
