Don't you just love US politicians?Too many people do and forget they are supposed to be servants after they vote for them. I will say this broad isn't in Leland Yee's league.

More California Public Servants that make you want to throw up. Two party rule is bad enough. When one party has a stranglehold on power even the ones that voted for them get screwed. These ones happen to be Democrats.

Timeline: Legal Troubles Of Sens. Leland Yee, Ron Calderon, Rod Wright

March 28, 2014 6:26 PM

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — Three California state senators were officially suspended on Friday (http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2014/03/28/california-senate-votes-to-suspend-leland-yee/) by a 28-1 vote, but will continue to receive their pay.
Here is a history of the legal troubles of Sens. Ron Calderon, Roderick Wright and Leland Yee that have cast a pall on the crumbling Democratic supermajority in the state Senate.
Timeline

Sept. 17, 2010: An indictment against Wright by a Los Angeles County grand jury was unsealed, accusing him of voter fraud and perjury.
June 4, 2013: Calderon’s Capitol office was raided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2013/06/05/state-sen-ron-calderon-nowhere-to-be-seen-day-after-capitol-raid/). CBS13 cameras captured agents carting away boxes filled with documents and hard drives, but the feds were tight-lipped about the contents and why they were at the Capitol.
Jan. 28, 2014: Wright is convicted (http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2014/01/28/state-senator-convicted-in-false-residency-case/). Prosecutors say Wright made it appear that he had moved into an Inglewood property he owned in order to run in 2008 to represent the 25th Senate District. His sentencing is originally set for March 12.
Feb. 21, 2014: Calderon and his brother Tom are indicted (http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2014/02/21/federal-agents-file-corruption-charges-against-state-senator-ron-calderon/). Ron Calderon is charged with accepting $100,000 in bribes, lavish trips and no-show jobs for his children in exchange for pushing legislation to benefit a hospital engaged in billing fraud and participating in a film industry tax scheme that actually was an FBI sting.
Feb. 21, 2014: On the same day as Calderon’s indictment, Wright’s sentencing is pushed back to May 16, 2014.
Feb. 24, 2014: Calderon pleads not guilty (http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2014/02/24/state-senator-ron-calderon-surrenders-to-authorities-on-bribery-charges/) to multiple corruption counts involving bribes, kickbacks and fraud.
March 2, 2014: Calderon tells the Associated Press (http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2014/03/02/embattled-state-sen-ron-calderon-takes-indefinite-leave-of-absence/) he’s taking an absence to focus on fighting charges against him, but says he’s not resigning.
March 26, 2014: Yee is arrested (http://cbssacramento.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/complaint_affidavit_14-70421-nc.pdf) and his offices are raided (http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2014/03/26/source-state-sen-leland-yees-offices-raided-by-fbi/) in connection with a gunrunning investigation. State Sen. President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg holds a conference that afternoon (http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2014/03/26/sen-president-darrell-steinberg-calls-on-indicted-state-senator-to-leave/) with other senators calling for Yee to “Leave.”
March 27, 2014: Yee leaves race (http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2014/03/27/sen-leland-yee-pulls-out-of-secretary-of-state-race/) for California secretary of state.
March 28, 2014: The California State Senate (http://sacramento.cbslocal.com/2014/03/28/california-senate-votes-to-suspend-leland-yee/) votes 28-1 to suspend Wright, Calderon and Yee with pay.

Ya know, it makes very little difference who the politicians are.
We're a plutocracy. The super-rich hold the power.
Politicians are merely puppets that serve the invisible government. They're clowns, they're entertainers... that serve the ultra rich and trans-national corporations.
Problem is: this is going to be very hard to change.
The whole system is very corrupt and destructive. But, again, quite difficult to change.
