I'm a fan of Alejandro Jodorowsky and thought this was very interesting. I'm not up on Dune as many others here are probably. Anyone who makes films like El Topo, The Holy Mountain, and Santa Sangre deserves to be paid attention to.

I could never see the fascination with his films. Is this the same Dune from the weird book by Herbert that David Lynch massacred?

big fan of his too. but this looks more like "another" documentary about his attempt @ making dune rather than dune (since it wasn't made)

I believe elements of Jodorowsky's Dune made it into Lynch's version. As seen in the trailer, H.R. Giger was involved with Jodorowsky's plan, and if you watch the Lynch film... especially scenes taking place on Harkonnen homeworld Giedi Prime, you see a definite Giger influence.
