Is the LA street scene ever coming back?

It used to be madness driving down Santa Monica Blvd on a weekend night. Did the internet kill that scene? Or does it go in waves and it just happens to be in a down swing right now?

I can't say since I don't get to the area as much anymore...but Steven is right. Too risky, too dangerous. It was fun while it lasted, but there are other (and safer) ways to get a date. The internet DID kill it a bit...as well as the LAPD.
