I have always kind of wanted to see a picture like this, and it is interesting. The real question is; does this make her less attractive? I say no. She's still hot. I'd be lying though, if I didn't say she is hotter without the beard.

She's certainly not a real transsexual i.e born in the wrong body, I've always seen her as a dude with boobs so it makes no difference to me.

LilyRox
11-07-2013, 12:18 AM
Well on her site main page it says "A revolution in gender". I think she's probably a gender fluid and bounces back and forth every once in a while maybe even somewhere in the middle.

Yeah, more like a confused kid who doesn't know whether he is or wants to be a boy or girl.

She's probably growing it out for electrolysis. More power to her for being able to walk around like that and actually look hot.

Dani DANIELS IS STILL A TRANSGENDER.

might be growing the beard out for electroysis or might not be able to shave for other reason for a while.

a man with boobs is a TRANSGENDER, a crossdresser is a transgender,a drag queen is a transgender, and a transvestite that does not shave at all is a transgender.

we don't know why the non shaving has happen with a photo of the topic

I hate to break up such an expert analysis, but there's no such thing as A TRANSGENDER.

That's right. It's not a noun. It's an adjective.

It's like saying "blacks" instead of "black people".

The reason it matters is that you are taking away the humanity of transgender people.

Also, it really just sounds fuckin' stupid and uneducated.

What a crock of hypocrites.

Danni Daniels is a unique individual. She plays by her own rules and her identity shouldn't have to be pigeon holed by the caged monkeys here.

If there was less of the finger pointing, the whining and the wankers then more people could just be themselves. Fucking hypocrites.

Wait wait wait. Let's not freak out here over misplaced articles. The spirit of the quote is correct - i.e. - facial hair (or lack thereof) is not a determining factor of a person's "TRANSGENDERED" status, which covers the entire spectrum of gender identity issues.

In point of fact, while you may be correct technically (read: grammatically), in stating "It's not a noun. It's an adjective.", one could easily argue that it is THAT description that is more "dehumanizing" as adjectives are typically supporting personal, subjective opinions. And if Transgendered is just an "opinion", then... draw out the logical conclusions. I think you're intelligent enough to see the nuances of what you're implying, which is why I'm posting a reply.

I would state that "Transgendered" is a state of being and therefore not open to outside interpretation, which I believe was the poster's intent, and one that I would, to a certain extent, agree with. Certainly in this case. Unless you're an avid Duck Dynasty Fan or Amish, I don't think having a beard / facial hair determines that you're a man... boobs or not.

grammar lessons aside...i must say that i've lost a lot of interest in this performer because this pic turns me off quite a bit.

i am not judging danni...if a person wants to have fluidity in their gender, it is their life to do with what they choose...i am not interested in this person's reality...i'm a porn fan and as a porn fan who only likes women, this image ruins my fantasy.

I agree with seanchai that this is her choice - and she can be whoever she chooses. Bravo.

But i must also agree with Rallycola that such pictures - peering behind the curtain of the role created by a pornstars s - can sometimes be somewhat shocking. Porn fan want their fantasies undiluted by the reality of the person doing the acting for them and it is rather similar for those who see escorts. They don't want their delight ruffled by hearing about the hardships and private troubles of their brief date.

Sad but too often true.

(Personally i always try to engage with girls i see as a punter. I find I like them even more when i discover the people they are behind the facade of their profession. But i also understand that this is, perhaps, an unusual trait.)

Nope. Just talking about grammar and semantics.

"Transgender people" is helpful to the way trans people are treated and seen "transgenders" is not.

"Transgendered" is also not a word, while we're on it, because 'transgender' is not a verb either.

I would hardly say that adjectives typically describe opinions, either. That's kind of a reach.

OK... so you jump on somebody for basically a "grammatical" (opinion) error, which you say is, dehumanizing, and then use an unflattering (opinion) term that many, many more persons would find highly objectionable.

Well, that makes perfect sense.

Anyway... again, technically (opinion) correct... and I don't want to argue the finer (opinion) points of grammar. I just wanted to point out that the person you quoted was, in spirit, correct.

In all fairness, I am assuming this is your source...

An interesting article and well written, although I do not agree with it entirely... I think it borders on some sort of elitism and academic exercise which, in the long run, is pointless. But, you know... HuffPo... must be true.

I hate to break up such an expert analysis,

Nopers. I've never seen that article. I've been of that school of thought for, I dunno, years.

It just kinda makes sense though. You can't transgender people, so how are people supposed to be transgendered. Y'know?

As to my use of tranny...lick it. It tastes like strawberries and you can see in the dark for an hour or so afterward. :-P

As one of the comments in the article pointed out...

In English, it sounds incorrect.

Are you a left-hand individual?
Are you a divorce individual?

You're left-handed... divorced... etc. etc.

This is, as you say, semantics, and having very little impact on the larger discussion. Let's fight against the overall mistreatment of persons identifying as TG / TS before getting stuck on largely academic points like this and further confusing the issue.

And, just as an FYI, I personally, don't care about labels at all so I'm not against the use of the word "tranny", especially since it was used as humor and as a self-descriptor. I was just saying that the academics that you share the same opinion of about "transgender vs transgendered" would excoriate you on the use - in any context.

Ms.Stepford
11-07-2013, 06:31 PM
Left-hand and divorce are nouns.

Still, you're right with the last point.

And... of course.

Quote my full reply.

In your massive desire to make yourself relevant you've once again displayed a complete lack of reading comprehension...

"Well, that makes perfect sense." - Said by me.

THAT is a sarcastic response intended to show that I understand the original post was humorous (humorous - not sarcastic as you propose). That is why it is on a separate line... emphasis.

So, who REALLY doesn't recognize sarcasm... you? or me?

PS... I don't backpeddle. I do, however, concede points when I think the opposing interest has a valid one. That is called "having a discussion". I stand by everything I've said but I am open enough to know that other people may have different, valid opinions.

You should try it sometime ( <---- I'll label this as sarcasm for you - you're welcome.)

lol. doesn't anybody read interviews anymore? Danni said in an interview (i cant be asked trolling for it) that she doesn't care if she goes outside with or without make-up, now i don't remember all the details in the interview (it was maybe a year or 2 ago that i read it) but the gist of it was she doesn't care if you call her a he or a she, or see her with a beard in pubic (obvious at this point) she's happy with who she is, and in my opinion thats all that matters. i don't understand why some people complain/bitch about other people's looks, seeing as how people who do complain/bitch usually aren't much to look at themselves.
