Snakes on a Plane Official Site Launched

New Line Cinema has launched the official site for Samuel L. Jackson action-thriller Snakes on a Plane, hitting theaters
on AUGUST 18.

At the site, you can grab a "Snakes Kit." In the kit, you can view an intro by Jackson and then check out new images, get downloads such as wallpapers, AIM icons, a screensaver, banners, the logo and the teaser poster, as well as watch three brief video clips and listen to sound clips.

A new trailer for the David Ellis-directed film is also playing in theaters with X-Men: The Last Stand this weekend and should be online soon.

Jackson plays an FBI agent who is escorting a witness on a flight from Hawaii to Los Angeles when an assassin releases hundreds of deadly snakes on a commercial airplane in order to eliminate the witness. The FBI agent, along with a rookie pilot, frightened crew and passengers must then band together in a desperate attempt to survive.
