Depends how we define it. When I worked in the foster care system I briefly worked with a 17 year old prostitute who had been working for about 4 years. Her pimp had been moving her between Oakland, LA, and Las Vegas to work. She was actively trying to recruit other underaged girls living in the group home to work for her pimp. It's not trafficking like in that Liam Neeson movie where his daughter gets kidnapped vacationing in Paris, but if we're talking underaged girls, largely runaways and foster kids, being recruited by pimps to work as prostitutes, and then being shuttled to various locations to work for the pimps benefit (you give a 16 year old 500 bucks and she thinks she is loaded, meanwhile the pimp just made 5 grand off the night's work), that shit most definitely happens with striking frequency.
