i have a 9 yr old pug. the wife is trying to force another dog on me and i said if it was a big one, like a bull mastif, i'm in...but she wants something small for the pug to play with.

My best friend growing up was my German Shepherd named Ranger. He died when I was in college, and I have missed him everyday since. Even when my entire peer group from elementary school, to include my four "best friends", abruptly rejected, bullied, and shunned me in middle school for being "gay", I was still able to come home each day and my dog would love me. He was a good pal, and I'll never forget him.
