Their constant gay bashing, their racist rants, the fact that one of the biggest members of the Senate that wants to be president has admitted he doesn't know what a president does, Rand Paul. Maybe their unwillingness to compromise. Or the fact that they divided the republican party. Well which one is it?

Co-sign. Conservatives of both parties figured out 50 years ago how to get people to vote against their own best interests, by appealing to people's resentments and fears. The anger at the bad economy and looting of retirement plans gets misdirected at old folks and disabled people struggling to survive, and school teachers instead of the billionaires calling the shots. People in this country get all pissed off if you dare say, "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas". But most people don't bat an eye about millions of jobs that were shipped overseas. Because they think it's the other guy who will be hurt. And/or they are too distracted by who is or is not wearing a flag pin on their lapel, or whatever to care.

You've completely misunderstood what Noam Chomsky was saying.
Noam Chomsky was pointing out that people who rallied around the Tea Party were demanding answers.
And the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Michael Savage were/are providing them with answers. That it's the rich liberals. They're the reason you've been shafted over the last 30 years.
Ya know, they think: why is this happening to me? As Chomsky says, They've done everything right. So, why is this happening?
And they're demanding answers. And those answers are coming from, again, Fox and Limbaugh. Ya know, it's the rich liberals... who just don't care about you.
So, the answers being provided by, again, Fox, Limbaugh etc. is that it's the rich liberals who own everything, who run the government... and they're out to harm you.... who is a good God-fearing conservative Christian.
So, it's the liberals who own everything and really don't care about you. That's the message Tea Party people were/are hearing.

Bzzzay, please don't take this the wrong way, I mean this more like an observation than criticism. Do your Tea Party friends know you have a thing for transgender women? They don't seem very tolerant toward anyone who's different.
