R.I.P....saw her in a lot of things, but for some reason will always remember her for that story with the doll from Trilogy of Terror.

Very sad.
I liked her in Invaders from Mars. And Family Plot. Burnt offerings, too.

I didn't know they remade the movie Invaders from Mars. Love the black & white movie version. I too will always remember her from Trilogy of Terror. Did she also star in a movie called Blake Widow? About the mysterious death of a lot men who had recently married her.

Her heyday was in the 70s - the second golden age of Hollywood - and she was never better than in Five Easy Pieces with Jack Nicolson.

Oh, Black Widow? No. Debra Winger -- and Theresa Russell.
Theresa Russell played Marilyn Monroe in an interestin' flick called: Insignificance. About a fictional meeting between Einstein and Monroe. Worth watching.
The remake of Invaders from Mars is directed by Tobe Hooper -- of Poltergeist and Texas Chainsaw Massacre fame.

That movie freaked me out when I was a kid. :)
That said, RIP Ms. Black
