Why do so many South American girls have same star tattoo ?

A few of the models I've shot also have a (solid) star tattoo. The claim it means freedom or something like that. Coming into their own. I don't know.

The star tattoo was perhaps original at one time, but is now utterly tired and cliche and they should all just stop it.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a gang mark. In Thailand, girls have very, very often quite important yet very localised burn scars, which is most probably also gang marks. My hunch... I don't know...

from what I was told by a girl, its a gay symbol. They put it on their wrist or shoulder as a coming out (extension of what some said earlier about freedom)
