I'd be interested to know who said that. That's an interesting theory. I've always heard just the opposite. That they were more careful about hiring closet gays (and I would assume closet tranny lovers) because they were more susceptible to blackmail... although they had no qualms about using gays to set up THEIR enemies for blackmail.
