Miami Heat vs San Antonio Spurs. who do you think will win? Im rooting for Spurs. why? because 1) i HATE lebron 2) Duncan deserves another ring before he calls it quits. 3) For 2 decades Spurs have just been amazing to watch from David Robinson to Tony parker and Tim duncan. 4) They are underdogs, i always root for the underdog!!

Well, the Spurs pulled off a heartbreaker last night...and in the Miami Heats own home no less. They are not quite the underdogs we are led o believe. Lol at some point the Lakers and Spurs must pass the torch onto the next big thing.
Between Indiana in the conference finals and now the Spurs in the championships, Miami, inspite of a stellar regular season, has shown its vulnerabilities. Too bad Wade has not turned out tobe the next "Jordan" as predicted by the sports analysis industry. Remember those now seemingly wayward and wanton predictions. It might have even added to your hatred of Lebron. lol.
I, however, will not be so foolish as to predict a clear winner in this Championship series. I actually don't have a favorite either. Lebron is literally carying Miami on his back. That is daunting in itself if Miami expects to bury the old guard of the Spurs with the seasoned veterans of Parker and Duncan.
It should prove an interesting series nevertheless. Enjoy Stan! :)

Miami is finding out how hard it is to repeat! Still like them in 6, but the Spurs are gonna be tough. Miami let the Spurs hang around and it cost them. Imo this is gonna be a heck of a series.:claps

Miami in six games is a pretty bold prediction, but anything is possible....

I'm not an NBA person, mostly Mets-Jets New York City fan, but I gotta say this little Tony Parker is a very special player. And a guy that gets no press here in the east. I have a feeling he's going to have a huge series and take his team past the mighty LeBron and company.

You may have something there, I like your comment. Unfortunately, the nba has adopted Barnum & Baileys philosophy: there is a sucker born every minute.... That...my good friend means that little doesn't oftentimes gets the "show" revenue as a King James. Tony Parker is a phenom!
I also see your selection of NY sports teams as intriguing as well. One day we will discuss! Enjoy!

Game 2: spurs up in the series 1-0
It's off too a very competitive star with a slight edge to San Antonio...

Miami has done this the whole postseason. Get beat, come back strong. Didn't see the huge run coming, but all toll it's 1-1.:-)

Yes they have, but they need to be careful of going to the well one time too often. Miami is having a hard taking a lead in the score. They did have a breakthrough against the spurs fo game 2, but they will have to do that consistently orits going to be along and difficult series.

Seven games would be ideal for me either way of the outcome. I prefer competitiveness or sweeps and one-sidedness. :hide-1:

I'm sorry, I meant to say over.
Game 3 may not be any clear indicator of a winner in this championship series. Just when I think it's over for either team, they find ways to win.

Yes! :)
I was on edge watching it though that by the fourth quarter I kept turning to watch Americas Secrets: guide to the American Mob.
I was so glad that Miami won though. It was hard to watch Tony Parker just score seemingly at will. It went silent in the second half. I want this to go 7 games rather than wanting either to win. But somebody has to lose and somebody has to go home.

Heat have to stay aggressive, if they play like they played last night they will win. But we know they follow a good game with a bad one. It's gonna get interesting now!:)

OMFG! What a freaking game! This has turned out to be a great series with an impossible comeback and win by the Miami Heat just when you thought it was over! Now both teams have to play the respective games of their lives. This is all I could ever hope for as a prediction: that it would go to a game 7! WOW!

WOW! Whose fucking decision was it to eliminate the commentating team of Ernie, Chales, Shaq, and Kenny from the championship finals? Who was the fool? I pity the fool! Magic and the crew are just not doing it for me.....
Game 7 yall! What's it going to be? I don't care either way, because my nerves are bad. :hide-1: just let it be a competitive game, please! :praying:

What a gripping nerve wreking final this was. although i am dissapointed that spurs didnt win, they only have themselves to blame. They had the championship last game but somehow managed to give 5points in 21seconds. i feel tim duncan should retire now, he has given so much not just to SA spurs but also to the NBA. what a great pleasure it was watching him thru the years after the robinson era. def shud call it quits while he is at the top!

The Heat won, but I think the Spurs were the better team. The Spurs were 28 ticks from their 5th but missed ft's, turnovers killed them. Don't agree on Duncan. The Spurs could get back to the Finals next year. They were too close for him not to take another crack at it. All in All, great series give the Heat credit they survived. That said this series forever will be about Game 6.

They won't win as constructed now. They need to add some size, because the Pacers and Bulls are Coming!

nah... both of them have been dealt with in the previous 2 seasons. now pacers have to figure out what they want to do with Grainger. and Bulls will always lack scoring. teams who play small have a better shot than teams who play big. im diggin the Nets. lets see if they have hold together to make a strong playoff push.
cant wait for the season to start.

Remember Rose is coming back maybe Granger. The Pacers know they can beat the Heat they took them to a game7. The Bulls with Rose are gonna be tough. If the Heat come back with this same roster they will not win a chip!

(Healthy Heat) Bulls with or without Rose arent a serious threat. pacers missed their shot 2years in a row. the west is all over the place. nets have jumped to 3 or 2 in the east but still far behind the heat. look for spo to start his maintenance program early in the season!
