like i said earlier, it is not about "authenticity" but that a woman should be able to present herself how she chooses, not some guy in his mom's basement making a decision to fuck with a photo.

For the most part, photographers use to touch up a few things like bruises, pimples, cuts or whatever was not a permanent part of the body/face. Then Tattoos came along and women started asking us to clone them out.

Then Maxim magazine came out with what became known as "Maxim Style" airbrushing and that pretty much killed photography as we knew it. Maxim style was basically airbrushing all the skin to the point where it looked more like a painting. Since then, many models started asking for it and we suddenly had to become "graphic artists" and destroy perfectly good photographs.

I used to do it, but not anymore. In fact I really hate it. A lot of photographers farm their pics to GA's to do their thing. A lot of GA's suddenly became photographers because proper lighting and exposure weren't important anymore. Now, no one trusts photography and many of us have moved more towards video, where it's much harder to pull the maxim style off.

Authentic all the way. A minor touch of Photoshop is ok, but if I know it's Photoshoped and unrealistic then I get turned off. I would rather look at "perceived" imperfections knowing it's real vs. a fake photo. That's my two cents...

i'm fine with airbrushing and touch ups, scar removals, etc. that really doesn't matter to me since i see a better image of the girl in video than i do in stills. even the "maxim" look referenced above doesn't bother me. i know that what models really look like when not professionally made up (or even personally made up) is totally different than the person i am seeing in the shoot. make up and after effects hide/change a lot.

I think in general, Wendy, frankly, if we don't know, we don't care! Porn is about fantasy. If we don't know it's photoshop, we'll be crazy about it.
Does that mean that we don't care about the girls, the "real" girls? Of course not. Only pathological individuals are unable to make any difference between fantasy and reality.
