I've seen this asked on another board. I am very curious about this because sadly there are so many deceased TS pornstars. The TS porn industry may have more deceased stars than any other porn industry. That is most likely due to its different social environment.

Do you view deceased pornstars' movies or pictures?

Hell yeah - if the deceased actresses looked pleasing to the eye that means they did a phenomenal job at what they did while they were living. It's good to separate entertainment from reality, I don't want to NOT enjoy something just because of death, y'know? People die all the time - might as well live it up and enjoy with a smile.

Yup...I just don't squeeze one out to them.

JenniferParisHusband

Yes, and I don't see it as a bad thing even if you do squeeze one out to them. If someone brought you joy in their life, celebrate them. Remember them in the way that brought you happiness and forget the sad parts. If anything I think of it as a lasting appreciation for them and a way to perpetuate their memory. Betty Page had more followers after she disappeared and was believed to be dead. That never stopped people from cranking one out to her.

I think of some of the amazing women I've had the honor of having as a part of my life, even if only for an hour or so. Why remember them as having been shot, or falling from their building, or suicide, when I can remember them smiling, happy, beautiful, and the warmth and joy I had with them. Those memories are never going to fade for me, why let them get overtaken by bad ones or forgotten completely? The same is true for photos or movies. I may not have known them, but why let them fade into obscurity when they have inflienced me and brought something better to my life?

Of course, I guess its just a matter of how you choose to look at this situation. I guess I can understand the side of it that is a bit morbid. I don't get it. But I understand how people can see that.

Yeah, I don't really think about it. I still watch scenes with the Brazilian T-girl Leticia Vlasak, because I found her so attractive, and she has passed. I feel bad for her and her friends and family, and I feel really ridiculously selfish saying this, but it's really disappointing that I'll never see a new scene with her, or even possibly meet her when I ever get around to going to Brazil.

I certainly watch dead actors and actresses in old movies. But that is different from having sexual fantasies over deceased porn stars. Mind you I seldom have sexual fantasies over living porn stars either.

For me it depends on how recently they passed away. For example, since learning of Sheeba Starr's passing, I've sort of bypassed her pics in my collection out of respect. Too soon I guess, but then again, I still regularly check out my Bettie Paige pics, so to me it seems like the passing of time plays a role.

Interesting thread because as a rule,I don't watch stuff from girls who have passed or gone post op, but never figured anyone else gave it a 2nd thought. Sometimes a girl was so hot that it's difficult not to revisit, but without discipline I'd be just like the beasts on this planet.

I could make a joke here, but i won't.

personally, i have no issue with watching porn regardless of the status of the actress. if she is decreased, de- transitioned, retired, married, whatever...I am appreciating the body of work she gave me while she was an active porn star.

When you think about it...an attraction to a girl, regardless if she is continuing to make new material or not speaks more to how much you do appreciate her than losing interest when she stops even if it is because she is dead.

Usually I try not to. One, it's disrespectful to the dead and two, it's sexually frustrating for me to jerk off to someone I will never see in person again.

One GG porn star that comes to mind is Rebecca Steele. I saw her in "Juicy Lucy" (1990). I saw her in person once at the Mitchell Brothers O'Farrell Theater in San Francisco in the early 90s. I didn't see her again. I saw "Juicy Lucy" a second time a few years ago and it wasn't the same as the first time.

She died in 2004 on the day after her 42nd birthday of a drug overdose. She was suffering from full-blown AIDS at the time.

I don't understand why either .We all die and there is nothing that will stop it . By putting away someone's work will lead to their eventual non-existence in people's memories . There is one girl that was killed in a stupid incident that got out of hand and the prolonging of several other incidents led to it . I'm not going into detail on who did or didn't do what . The only thing I am going to say is a girl was killed .

From what I've heard the girl was beautiful and had done photo shoots . After her death her pics were removed from websites . There is virtually no memory of her today except by those that knew her . The case is very well known in the TS Community, especially LA . The participants are well known aswell . The victim is known mostly as the the girl that got shot/killed .

I believe her galleries should be reposted and her name and memory be known to current and future generations .

Cecil, I know of the woman you are speaking of. She was one of the first transgender ladies I ever knew. She was stunning in every way possible, beautiful of mind, heart, spirit, and body. And I miss her every day. The only real way I have to remember her, is through her images and a few hours we had spent together. It's sad though, I can't find more than two or three photos of her anywhere these days. Other than the few moments when people who knew her can talk about her, like this, it's almost like she never existed outside that tragedy. That to me does a dis-service to her memory.

I guess people like Seanchai who were around them more often and knew of their personal feelings towards the photos, would better know what their wishes for them were after their passing, and in this case, a very tragic and needless passing. But it breaks my heart to know that she is almost forgotten now, when she should be celebrated for the wonderful and beautiful woman she was.

I can't. It just doesn't sit right with me.

I loved Skarleeth but I haven't viewed anything of hers since her unfortunate passing.

And Ashley Stacks was another great entertainer before her accident. But I can't go back to her twitter page without feeling disrespectful.

It's the same for me each time that I learn a girl has passed.

I agree .The two you mentioned plus the Brazilians who either committed suicide or died under suspicious circumstances like Mariana Cordoba for example. It's a choice and I choose not to. Others can do as they please.
The word "Necrophilia" affects different people in different ways. When I first heard about it, I was shocked enough to put it as far away as I could, from anything I would ever do in life. I don't even want to think about it

jerseygirlangie ...Would you apply the same standard to non-porn actresses , and not watch their films after they pass ? Involving sexuality? Yes I would avoid those scenes .

If you are just talking about scenes that are not sex related then that's another ball of wax but typically outside of a few performers like Tracy lords, most did not do any mainstream non-sex related work that i'm aware of.

I know this is all a matter of personal preference, but masturbating over a dead person's scenes is hardly equivalent to having sex with a corpse.

I'm wondering if the people who think like you would apply the same principle to other situations. For example, if somebody detransitioned would you think it disrespectful to continue to watch their trans porn scenes? Similarly, if you knew that someone now regretted having made porn would you think it disrespectful to keep watching their scenes?

1) like it or not you’ve probably watched and fapped over a load of scenes involving passed people because you wouldn’t even have known they had passed.

2) The question posed by the thread starter was:

Do you view deceased pornstars' movies or pictures

which is nowt to do with the sexual violation of corpses

Personally, I don't see why something should be considered disrespectful after a person has died if it wasn't disrespectful while they were still alive. Death does not sanctify a person if they weren't a saint while they were still alive.

Off course, there are exceptions; eg I would have different attitude if I knew them personally. It would also be macabre to want to watch somebody's porn scenes straight after hearing of their death. However, the idea that I should never again watch any scene by a deceased person who I never knew personally seems to be taking things too far.

I fap as you call it in real time towards a shared experience or a potential future experience . That's not going to happen with someone who is deceased . "

Tracy did/does both mainstream and porn so that would be a fair comparison since the discussion is about porn. If she passed I would not watch her porn. Yes I would still watch her mainstream entertainment. Just one opinion in 7.5 billion.

Yes, but.

Yes, because I am a pervert. But in practice, not often.

It is a fact that of the roster of stars I saw in the movies that were made in the 80s and 90s, that most died from AIDS related illnesses or suicide, which poses a major problem for the Vintage threads in HA. On the other hand, perhaps a distinction can be made between stars who died from old age, an illness, or committed suicide, or were murdered?

Ultimately it is a matter of choice.

This didn't read well. I meant to say i haven't been able to enjoy a vid of hers since she died. it's not the same as a movie from Hollywood or a drama show. The point of porn is an erotic connection, which is why more intense than watching some action film or sci-fi or rom-com.

The subject seems to imply that we would already know the performers are dead. If your "probably" assertion was generally true then why ask the question to begin with?

I’m just making the point that regardless of a viewer’s decision to not watch that deceased star’s output the chances are that they wouldn’t be aware of every performer’s life/death status it’s simply not possible that’s all.

A better form of the question might have been
“Do you knowingly view deceased pornstars’ movies or pictures?”

I downvoted it because I thought the post was flawed but unlike you I do think this is like Facebook where people are allowed to express their own opinions and vote on posts so other people can understand why it deserved to be downvoted. Ironically the complaint is usually the opposite where people have downvoted and not explained why.
